What I do

I work with organisations of all types and sizes across the cultural sector. I offer a range of services that I will tailor to your organisation’s needs – this could be one-day workshops to generate ideas, an analysis of your organisation’s situation and advice on next steps, or guiding a team through a project from inception to completion. When you contact me, we will set up a meeting (in person or online) to discuss your needs, which I will use to write a proposal for you.

This is the knowledge, skills and approaches I can bring:

I create and facilitate transformation

I work with organisations who want some kind of change: they may have reached an impasse on a project, want to rethink their existing offer or branch out in a new direction. I work with stakeholders to identify needs, create a vision, pinpoint what change is required, and develop a strategy.

I bring a multi-disciplinary perspective to creative problem solving

I use my multi-disciplinary background to think laterally about the issues in hand and bring to bear useful concepts and approaches from other disciples and situations.

I empower people to express their ideas and opinions, and to listen

I create spaces where people feel able to express themselves openly, and know they will be listened to; for example, cross-sector forums for sharing ideas and knowledge, and channels of communication between organisations at an impasse.

I dismantle barriers

I foster initiatives that offer a platform to marginalised people and organisations and aim to break down silos between roles, organisations or disciplines. I hold equity, diversity and inclusion as a core value.

I support colleagues and students in their professional and academic development

I enjoy seeing people grow and thrive. I am approachable and supportive.

I thrive in a team

I am enriched by working in a team, hearing different perspectives and drawing on the knowledge and skills of others. It enhances my work.

I love a challenge

I am excited by work that is creative and challenging, where I know I will be working on something that is interesting, that draws on my wide set of skills and knowledge, and there is an opportunity to make an impact.

My success stories illustrate the impact I have.
